Love this book! This book is so practical it makes me feel confident that I would be able to find a way to help provide for my family if our country were to experience another recession or even depression. For now...I cannot wait to expand my garden and learn to preserve the foods that I grow.

I've been preserving and pickling with my mom and grandma since I was a little kid. This is a really nice book with new recipes and more up-to-date instructions for canning, etc. I was most interested in the pressure canning section, having just bought a pressure cooker/canner. I would recommend to any new or seasoned home canner.
